Who we are
A fine, heavy legacy.
Seized by the rich content of his archives, subjugated by the message delivered by his writings, we had the strength and courage to bring together the intelligence that enabled us to take up this challenge in the image of "Kèkè à la conquête du feu".
So this new project is a continuation of the collaborative work, initiated with passion and determination, a few years ago and which in 2019 led to the publication of the book: " Owanga or the Call of Dawn "with the help of the publishing house EFARO ».

The aim of this project
Today, this site dedicated to Ogoula Iquaqua Benoît (OIB), allows us to
OPEN...
a new window extending the momentum of his rehabilitation while highlighting his tireless fight for truth, justice, freedom and social progress.
TO GIVE...
the opportunity for young Africans and beyond to get to know with a visionary. When he wrote: "His power extends from Senegal to Loango...". was OIB already instilling the idea of the necessary unity of of Africa? Was he launching the embryonic idea of pan-Africanism?
TO OFFER...
greater visibility for the singular career of this Patriot, a better understanding the work of this Resistance fighter and thinker, who may well have been right far too early.
"Our look before we forget
"I don't want them to make me a vault, but rather an ordinary grave.
"My documents on the history of the Oroungou should not be destroyed, but any son or daughter interested in them should continue this work in the same direction as I have.
Generally speaking, my library must not be destroyed, it must be carefully preserved".
"I want the present will to be respected and executed with the utmost rigor.
Land is only as good as the people who live on it.
